Climate Control

We require all facilities maintain N + 2 redundancy in it's air conditioning systems. External chillers feed internal air handling units in each facility. All facilities disperse cooled air from beneath the raised floors in each colocation room. The HVAC capacity is designed to cool per square foot. Cooling capacity is designed to 65+-watts/sq. ft in the IDC. All units are inspected and maintained at 30-day intervals. Environment is kept to 68 degrees +/- 2 degrees F with 45% +/- 5% humidity and is constantly monitored in multiple zones within the facility. The facilities group remotely monitors all A/C unit alarms around the clock.
